Julie Plec's highly anticipated virus event series Containmentfinally has a premiere date at the CW. The series will take overiZombie's Tuesday time slot starting April 19, with the zombie dramedy wrapping up its second season with back-to-back episodes on April 12. The news may seem disheartening for iZombie fans who are still waiting for Season 3 news, but replacing zombies with a virus show, with solid lead-in from The Flash, makes the most sense for the network's packed schedule.

Tuesdays aren't the only night getting a shakeup in April. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend ends its first season on April 18, making room for Reign to take over its pre-Jane the Virgin slot on April 25. If the move proves successful and Reign gets picked up for Season 4, it will become the network's second show to survive a Friday night stint. (Supernatural rebounded from Fridays to Tuesdays in 2012.) Fridays will continue to be held down by The Vampire Diaries and The Originals.

The network also announced that the final season of Beauty & the Beast kicks-off on Thursday, June 2.
