The Criminal Minds Team Uncovers Mummies in This Exclusive Sneak Peek!

There's still a few more weeks until Halloween, but that isn't stopping Criminal Minds from being straight up horrific. The show has been known to have some really gross ways of murdering victims, but Wednesday's episode is next level.

When the BAU team discovers the victims in this exclusive sneak peek, they're shocked to learn that they're mummies. That's right, the UnSub likes to mummify his victims and then hide them in the floor boards and walls of houses. Rossi (Joe Mantegna) gets the honor of discovering the one in the video above when he's called out to a crime scene where the recovery dog is so overwhelmed by the smell of bodies, his little paws can't scratch fast enough at all the locations.

Here's How Criminal Minds Embedded a Serial Killer Cult in a Decade Old Episode

When the team is done excavating, Rossi is left standing in the middle of a pile of mummified bodies that had spent god knows how long stuffed in the walls of that house. But how many more mummies are out there? Also, someone please give that poor dog a treat.
