Hallelujah! Criminal Minds has been renewed for Season 14.

The FBI procedural ended Season 13 with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger when Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) was kidnapped by a serial killer cult and Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) had to choose between saving her life and taking down the cult's new leader. The episode ended with Reid holding his target at gunpoint while Garcia was held in distress in the back of a black sedan.

Now the show will pick up with its 300th episode in the Season 14 premiere and provide a dramatic conclusion to the big cliffhanger. The team could use the big win after losing a member of the BAU in the Season 13 finale, almost being dismantled by Linda Barnes (Kim Rhodes) and then Reid and Garcia being caught in this predicament.

CBS also handed out renewals to Instinct, Man With a Plan, Life in Pieces and Celebrity Big Brother. The network has yet to make a decision on Kevin Can Wait, Elementary, Scorpion and Superior Donuts.

Criminal Minds continues on as CBS' second-longest running procedural afterNCIS. It's lasted over a decade and two spin-offs that never made it past Season 2. It joins S.W.A.T., MacGyver and more on CBS' list of 2018-19 renewals and joins new shows Magnum P.I., The Red Line and The Code.

CBS will announce its full 2018-19 TV schedule next week.
