Courteney Cox has booked her first post-Cougar Town television gig. The Friendsalum is developing a comedy for Fox in which she'll also star, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Cox will play a widow named Hailey, who inherits her billionaire husband's charity after his death and quickly learns that running a nonprofit is difficult work, THR reports.

The as-yet-untitled project will be written by Robert Padnick (The Office) and James Griffiths directing the pilot. Cox, Griffiths, Padnick and Thea Mann will act as executive producers.

Cox most recently starred on Cougar Town, which aired from 2009 to 2015, first on ABC and then on TBS.
