The Cosby Show will never be the same in the wake of the Bill Cosby rape allegations.

"The legacy can't help but be tarnished," Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who played son Theo Huxtable on the show, told the Associated Press. "To see that the show doesn't necessarily have the same sheen that it once did, is definitely a downer."

Cosby Rape Scandal: A photo timeline of bad behavior

More than 40 women have come forward to say Cosby drugged, assaulted, and/or raped them. Twenty-seven of them will sit down for a Dateline special Friday night. Three separate lawsuits have been filed against the comedian in connection to the allegations. Prosecutors are currently reviewing the case and deciding whether to press charges.

"It's just a bad situation all around -- for [Cosby], for his family, the women, their families, the legacy of the show," Warner said. "In a few generations, the Huxtables will have been just a fairy tale."
