During an appearance on Larry King Now, Dan Harmon dropped some news that is seriously streets ahead. The Communitycreator revealed he still has every intention of making the #SixSeasonsAndAMovie prophecy come true. He's just waiting for the perfect time to write the movie.

"If I pull out a typewriter right now and write a Community movie just for my own heart and mind, then I have to go through the heartbreak and agony of finding out which of the people will show up to make it," Harmon said. "On the other hand, if I wait for everyone to line up and say, 'We're all out of work and ready to do a Community movie,' well, I guess that's a bad idea too."

Community: Do we even still want six seasons and a movie?

After five seasons on NBC (one of which Harmon wasn't involved in), Community was picked up for a sixth season by Yahoo! before being canceled for good. Now, the cast has moved on, with Donald Glover focused on his new FX comedy Atlanta; Joel McHale starring in an upcoming CBS sitcom The Great Outdoors; Yvette Nicole Brown co-starring on The Odd Couple; Alison Brie voicing a horse's ghostwriter onBoJack Horseman; Gillian Jacobs starring on the Judd Apatow seriesLove; and Danny Pudi set to return to NBC on the new midseason comedy Powerless.

Despite his stars' busy schedules, Harmon remains optimistic about Community's future. "It'll make a great movie. It'll happen," he declares.
