Chris Evans to Replace Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear
The show will feature an all-new line-up
TV and radio personality Chris Evans has been tapped to replace Jeremy Clarkson as the lead host ofTop Gear, the BBC announced.

Despite the fact that Evans had previously said he was not interested in the gig, he signed a three-year deal with the BBC Two show, which he called his "favourite programme of all time."

"I promise I will do everything I possibly can to respect what has gone on before and take the show forward," Evans said.
The BBC also reported that Evans will be part of an "all-new" Top Gear lineup, confirming reports that co-hosts Richard Hammond and James May will not return. Evans tweeted that "there is no one on any short list yet to co host TG," but that an announcement about the presenters would come Wednesday.
