When sisters Chloe and Halle Bailey were asked to write "Grown," the theme song forgrown-ish, the Freeform comedy on which they both star, they knew exactly where to look for inspiration.

"We sat down in our living room and looked up all of our favorite theme songs," Halle tells Music Choice, citing theme songs from shows like Drake & Josh and Friends.

The sisters, who perform under the name Chloe x Halle, have made quite a splash in the music world, in addition to starring on grown-ish. They served as the opening act for the European leg of Beyonce's Formation World Tour, and also appeared in her Lemonade visual album.

"I also think we were inspired by the timing of our lives right now, because we feel like we're grown, but we're not quite there," says Halle, 17.

Their debut studio album, The Kids Are Alright, will be available to stream on Friday.
