Chicago P.D.'s Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) is dropping byChicago Medthis spring, and his visit will set the stage for some much-needed brotherly bonding.

In an episode slated to air on Tuesday, April 17, the Intelligence detective heads over to the emergency department on official police business. However, he'll also carve out some one-on-one time with his brother Will (Nick Gehlfuss) to discuss the current state of their romantic lives -- something we rarely get to see the siblings do. Given the nature of their high-stress jobs, which often find them in the midst of life-or-death situations, there's rarely time for personal chats.

"Will and Jay have some scenes where they're talking about relationship stuff," Nick Gehlfuss told TV Guide. "These two probably don't talk on a deep, emotional level but they're [each other's only sibling]. I'm glad we're getting to dive into that relationship more."

Is Chicago Fire Staging a Major Death?

With Will struggling to balance his relationship with Natalie (Torrey DeVitto) as both her superior and her boyfriend, the younger Halstead could use all the advice he can get. The same can also be said for Jay, whose last relationship ended when he realized it was a bad idea to get involved with a drug dealer connected to one of his cases.

Watch the Halstead brothers in action when the big crossover airs Tuesday, April 17 at 10/9c on NBC.

In the meantime, catch Chicago Med Tuesdays at 10/9c and Chicago P.D. Wednesdays at 10/9c.
