Chicago Fire Mega Buzz: The Drama Isn't Over for Severide and Stella

It would be an understatement to say that Severide (Taylor Kinney) and Stella's (Miranda Rae Mayo) relationship has gotten off to a rocky start on Chicago Fire... and unfortunately, it's not going to get any smoother as the season progresses.

Severide's ongoing commitment issues and the lurking presence of Stella's ex Grant (Guy Burnet) aren't going to be the only things that cause problems for the duo: Severide's budding friendship with Travis Brenner (Scott Elrod) may ignite their chances of happiness before they even start calling themselves a couple.

"He will be the devil on Severide's shoulder for a good part of this opening half of the season," executive producer Michael Brandt tells TVGuide.com about Severide's new VIP-BFF.

We can only imagine what kind of trouble Travis and Severide will get into, but it seems like living the high life may come at a pretty high price for Kelly. "Kidd's not excited, as the angel on Severide's shoulder, to have the devil on the other side," Brandt says.

Sounds like Kidd and Brenner are about to engage in a tug-of-war, with Severide stuck in the middle!
