Are We Getting a Brettonio Baby on Chicago Fire?

It sure looks that way!

Earlier this season, Chicago Fire boss Derek Haas teased that a pregnancy would rock the firehouse and now, it looks like we're finally getting some answers. This week's game-changing two-hour event could see a member of the crew receiving some huge baby news.

When asked whether or not a Fire pregnancy was still in the works this season, Haas told TV Guide, "This big event is gonna answer that question."

And while Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Dawson (Monica Raymund) seem like the prime candidates for a firehouse baby, something tells us that they aren't the ones with a bun in the oven and that Brett (Kara Killmer) might actually be the one who's pregnant. The biggest indicator is that, according to Haas, there are "multiple things coming at her in this episode."

Chicago P.D.'s Jay Halstead Is Dropping By Chicago Med For Some Brotherly Bonding

Given that we last saw her hooking up with Antonio (Jon Seda), the unsettling news she receives during the two-hour event very much points to a surprise pregnancy. Plus, it looks like Antonio will be dropping by for both episodes and will reunite with Brett during his lengthy visit -- further fueling our suspicions of a Brettonio baby.

If the rumors are true and they are, indeed, expecting their first child, the major news would be a much-needed buffer from the heartbreaking possibility of also losing a firefighter in the same week.

Chicago Fire's two-hour event airs Thursday, March 22 at 9/8c on NBC.
