Saturday Night Live's 40th anniversary special seemingly featured everyone from former cast members Eddie Murphy and Bill Murray to recurring hosts Alec Baldwin and Justin Timberlake to even Sarah Palin! But there was one noticeable absence during the nearly three and a half hour broadcast: Cheri Oteri.

"To be fair, I have to say that I wasn't originally able to go," Oteri, who was a cast member from 1995 to 2000, explained on Watch What Happens LiveMonday, "and then just a couple of days ago, I was able to pull it together."

Report: Tracy Morgan wasn't "mentally or emotionally ready" for SNL special

And though the scheduling conflict stopped Oteri from reprising her iconic characters during the SNL special, she did gave fans a little taste of Collette, the prescription pill addict, on WWHL.
