Charlize Theron Undergoes Neck Surgery

Charlize Theron is normally the one turning heads, but the Oscar-winning actress is the one who recently had to undergo neck surgery, People reports.

The actress, 38, had a "small procedure" to correct a vertebra she broke years ago, a source told the magazine. Theron, who was spotted at an event Friday wearing a dress that covered the base of her neck, is "totally fine," the source said.

Theron will next star in Dark Places, the adaptation of Gillian Flynn's novel about the Satanic cult hysteria that swept America in the 1980s.
