TBS Denies Talks with Charlie Sheen for New Show

Charlie Sheen is not heading back to TV yet.
Contrary to a Radar report that TBS is the front-runner to land the actor's new show, a rep for the network tells The Hollywood Reporter it's not true. "TBS is not in discussions for a possible project with Charlie Sheen," the rep says.

The Radar report also said Sheen had struck a deal with Lionsgate Television for a sitcom, in which he would play a racier version of his Two and a Half Men character. Lionsgate had no comment.TBS is the second network to deny ties to Sheen. In February, HBO said there was "no truth" to Sheen's claims that he was "close to securing a deal" with the cable network for a half-hour show called Sheen's Corner, for which he would earn $5 million an episode.

Sheen recently wrapped his violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option tour and is locked in a legal battle with Warner Bros. over his Men firing. He suffered a setback two weeks ago when a judge ruled that his $100 million lawsuit will go to arbitration instead of trial.
