ANOTHER CHANCE FOR BRETT BUTLER

Troubled ex-sitcom star Brett Butler — whose erratic behavior on the set of ABC's Grace Under Fire is the stuff of Hollywood legend — is re-teaming with the Alphabet network on another comedy. According to Variety, Butler will play a newspaper reporter trying to put her life back together in the sitcom, which will be written and executive-produced by former Friends and Roseanne scribe Michael Borkow. If the network picks up the show, it could air as early as next fall.
