Sons of Anarchy Star CCH Pounder Joins NCIS: New Orleans

Sons of Anarchy star CCH Pounder has signed on for the NCIS: New Orleansspin-off, TVLine reports.

The Shield alum will play medical examiner Dr. Wade, who is described as smart, eccentric and "incredibly connected to Louisiana," according to TVLine.

The news comes on the heels of the announcement that Scott Bakula and Zoe McLellan have also joined the cast, as team leader Agent Pride and Special Agent Brody, respectively.

NCIS: New Orleans will debut as part of a two-part NCIS episode that will air in the spring.
