CBS' new reality series The Job will premiere on Friday, Feb. 8 at 8/7c, the network announced Thursday.

The show is hosted by The View's Lisa Ling and offers contestants the chance to land dream jobs at some of America's biggest and best-known companies. Each episode features five candidates who go through a number of elimination challenges and are critiqued by a panel of executives — made up of representatives from competing companies as well as the contestant's dream employer.

Rival companies have the opportunity to offer employment to the contestants as well, but it's up to the contestants to decide whether they want to work for another company or keep competing for the possibility of attaining a position at their chosen company.

The Job will take over the Friday time slot currently held by Undercover Boss, which will return on April 19, according to CBS. The new show is produced by Michael Davies  and Mark Burnett.
