God Friended Me, Magnum P.I. and The Neighborhood Are Sticking Around All Season

I hope you really like freshman series God Friended Me, Magnum P.I. and The Neighborhood, because CBS just handed out full-season orders to each of them. They join FBI as the new series receiving full-season pick-ups from the network. However, CBS has not yet confirmed exact episode counts for any series.

When you look at the numbers, the pick-ups make sense. According to the network, the new drama God Friended Me, which follows a man (Brandon Micheal Hall) who starts receiving messages via social media that might actually be from a higher power, is averaging more than 10 million viewers on Sunday evenings. Meanwhile, Magnum P.I., a reboot of the classic action series starring Jay Hernandez, is said to be reaching over 9 million viewers each week. According to CBS, it has also improved in the Monday at 9 p.m. hour by +50 percent over last season.

All of this makes sense -- it's easy to see why people would tune in for these new shows -- but who is watching The Neighborhood? The new comedy, starring New Girl's Max Greenfield, is about a family that moves to L.A. and finds their midwestern sensibilities aren't quite getting them the welcome they expected. It's not exactly groundbreaking storytelling. According to CBS, though, it is pulling in more than 8 million viewers each week.

There's no word yet on the future of CBS' other new comedy, Happy Together.
