Could there be a Castlewithout Beckett?
Nathan Fillion has renewed his contract to return to the ABC procedural for a potential eighth season, but Stana Katic has not yet signed a new deal, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

One person who is definitely out: showrunner David Amann, who replaced creator Andrew W. Marlowe this season. There is no word yet on who will replace Amann.
Castle has not yet been renewed for an eighth season. Cast member Seamus Dever, whose contract is also set to expire at the end of this season, recently told TVGuide.com that the future of the show was "really up in the air."
Castle's Season 7 finale will air on Monday, May 11 and will find Beckett at "a crossroads," according to the synopsis.
