A Florida jury has acquitted Casey Anthony in the murder of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee.
She was, however, found guilty of four counts of providing false information to law enforcement officers.

The verdict was reached Tuesday after 33 days of testimony and 10 hours and 40 minutes of jury deliberation. Anthony, 25, cried as the verdict was read.Had Anthony been found guilty of first-degree murder, she could have received the death sentence. Anthony was also acquitted of aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter of a child.Caylee Anthony disappeared in June 2008 and her body was found six months later in the woods near her grandparents' house. A cause of death was never determined.

Prosecutors argued that Anthony killed Caylee because the child was an inconvenience in her partying lifestyle. Anthony's attorneys said the girl drowned in the family's pool and that her father, George Anthony, a former police officer, made the death look like a homicide after Anthony panicked. They also said George Anthony sexually abused his daughter. George Anthony has denied both claims.Anthony will be sentenced Thursday and could receive up to a year in jail for each count.
