David Tennant and Matt Smith are set to share the screen in November's Doctor Who 50th anniversary special. But Cartoon Network's MAD jumps the gun, bringing together the two Time Lords in the Sept. 2 episode, mashing them up with Whose Line Is It Anyway?

In the sketch "Doctor Whose Line is it Anyway?" the animated likenesses of Tennant and Smith are teamed with WLIIA star Wayne Brady (voices are provided by other actors) in a game hosted by a Dalek, the Doctor's iconic nemesis. It's billed as "the show where everything is made up and the points don't matter — because you will all be exterminated," a nod to the Dalek's trademark battle cry.

This is just the latest in a line of fabulously ridiculous MAD mash-ups, including "Here Comes Yogi Boo Boo," "The Big Bird Theory" and "2 Broke Powerpuff Girls," among many others. "Knowing that the Doctor Who series is marking its 50th year celebration by bringing the two most recent Doctors together in a special, we figured MAD needed to bring them together first in a special way that only MAD could get away with," says producer Kevin Shinick. "Pairing it with Whose Line Is It Anyway? is a dreadful and ridiculous idea, so we knew we were on to something."

MAD airs Mondays at 8:30/7:30c on Cartoon Network. Check out this exclusive first look at "Doctor Whose Line is it Anyway?"
