Carla Gugino Joins New Girl in Fifty Shades-esque Role

Carla Gugino has landed a multi-episode arc on New Girl, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

As first reported by Entertainment Weekly, the Political Animalsstar will play Emma, Schmidt's (Max Greenfield) new boss who is actually a super freak in the sack. In fact, she and Schmidt will land themselves in a Fifty Shades of Grey situation after he signs a contract binding him to her.

Gugino, whose credits also include Entourageand Watchmen, will appear in at least three episodes of the second season, which returns with two episodes on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at 8/7c and 9/8c on Fox.
