Bryan Cranston Is Coming Back to TV in a Sci-Fi Anthology Series

Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston is returning to TV in Electric Dreams: The World of Phillip K. Dick, an anthology series based on the legendary sci-fi writer's work, Variety reports. The series will be written and executive-produced by Outlander's Ronald D. Moore and Justified's Michael Dinner. Cranston will also executive-produce.

Details are scant for the project, which is still in very early stages. It will be a British-American co-production between Channel 4 and Sony Pictures Television. Each of the 10 episodes will be a standalone story. Electric Dreams has no American network attached yet. Another Phillip K. Dick adaptation, The Man In the High Castle, will start its second season on Amazon later this year.

Cranston, who wrapped his run as drug manufacturer Walter White on Breaking Bad in 2013, will also appear in Amazon's upcoming series Sneaky Pete, which is also a Sony Pictures Television production he executive-produces. He can next be seen as President Lyndon B. Johnson in HBO's made-for-TV movie All the Way, which premieres May 21 at 8/7c. He won a Tony for his Broadway performance of the role in 2014.
