David Tennant, Olivia Colman and More Returning for Broadchurch Season 2

Original castmembers David Tennant, Olivia Colman, Andrew Buchan, Jodie Whittaker and Arthur Darvill will return for the second season of the murder-mystery series Broadchurch, ITV announced Monday.

The announcement comes on the heels of Fox's Broadchurch adaptation Gracepoint, which also stars Tennant, getting added to the network's fall schedule. Tennantwill star on both shows. The first season of Broadchurch aired in the U.S. on BBC America.

"We're delighted Broadchurch is back in production, but we're remaining tight-lipped about how the story develops," said ITV's Director of Drama Steve November.  "Suffice to say [creator Chris Chibnall] has delivered as always and the scripts are just as exciting as the first series."
