Brandy Calls Off Engagement

Singer Brandy and her fiancé Ryan Press have called off their engagement, Us Weekly reports.

"The engagement is off, but the friendship is still on," Brandy's rep tells Us. "They haven't ended things on a bad note and they still speak all the time."

Brandy, 35, and Press, a music executive, announced their engagement in December 2012. But they subsequently "decided to take a step back and re-evaluate the relationship," her rep tells Us.

This would have been the first marriage for Brandy, who has a 12-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
