Did Melissa McCarthy's Spy save the weekend?
Apparently you weren't the only one who thought the world didn't need any more Entourage.The big-screen adaptation of the hit HBO series had a disappointing opening weekend, earning a meager $10.4 million, Box Office Mojo reports, coming in fourth.
However, Melissa McCarthy's R-rated comedy Spy was a huge success, earning $30 million in its opening weekend and the top spot. San Andreas followed with $26.4 million and then Insidious Chapter 3, which garnered $23 million in its opening weekend.
Mad Max: Fury Roadtook fifth with $8 million, barely beating outPitch Perfect 2's $7.7 million. Rounding out the Top 10 were Tomorrowland($7 million), Avengers: Age of Ultron($6.2 million), Aloha ($3.3 million) and Poltergeist ($2.9 million).
