Box Office: Cinderella Has a Fairy-Tale Opening

But how did Run All Night do?

Cinderella had a fairy-tale debut at the box office, raking in $70 million and taking the top spot for the weekend, according to Box Office Mojo. It's the sixth-highest grossing March opening of all time.

Liam Neeson's Run All Night, on the other hand, got off to a disappointing start, landing at No. 2 with a mere $11 million.

Kingsman: The Secret Service jumped up a spot to No. 3 with $6.2 million, while Focus fell to fourth place with $5.8 million.

Focus narrowly beat out last week's No. 1 film, Chappie, which dropped off more than 56 percent, plummeting to fifth place with $5.8 million.

At No. 6 was The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotelwith $5.7 million, followed by The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Waterwith $4.1 million.

Rounding out the top 10 were McFarland, USA(No. 8, $3.7 million), American Sniper (No. 9, $2.9 million) and The DUFF (No. 10, $2.9 million).
