Grab your Red Sox hat and leave those Rs at home - the trailer for Seth Meyers' (fake) movie Boston Accent has arrived.
Premiering on Thursday's episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, the teaser brings out every Beantown movie trope there is: aerial shots of Fenway Park, a heartfelt monologue delivered inside a gritty bar and, of course, various iterations of the infamous Boston accent. (It also features 75 new songs by the Dropkick Murphys.)
Of course, Meyers plays all the main characters - including the (probably corrupt) mayor, a born-and-bred police chief and a tough-talking gang member, as well as a British actor who's trying his best to perfect the accent and just can't seem to nail it.
