This morning producer Barbara Broccoli confirmed the world's worst-kept secret, that Brit Daniel Craig will play the first blond James Bond in the film franchise's 21st installment, a straight take on Ian Fleming's premiere 007 novel, Casino Royale. In a statement, Broccoli and director Martin Campbell said, "Daniel is a super actor who has all the qualities needed to bring a contemporary edge to the role." Namely, he's grabbing headlines by snogging Sienna Miller.
