Beowulf Motion-captures Box-office Title

Robert Zemeckis' Beowulf (there, wolf!) topped the weekend box office with a $28.1 million opening — some 18 percent of which came from 3-D IMAX showings. Bee Movie came in second with $14.3 mil.Rounding out the top five were American Gangster ($13.2 mil), Fred Claus ($12 mil) and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (debuting with $10 mil).
