Gotham Adds Walking Dead's Benedict Samuel as the Mad Hatter
The former leader of the Wolves has a new gig
Benedict Samuel, best known for playing Owen, the leader of the villainous gang the Wolves on Season 6 of The Walking Dead, has been cast as the Mad Hatter on Fox's Gotham, the network announced Monday.
The Australian actor will be a series regular as Jervis Tetch, aka the Mad Hatter, on Season 3 of the young Batman series.
The Mad Hatter is a longtime foe of Batman's, having first appeared in issue #49 of the Batman comic series in 1949. On Gotham, he's a "talented hypnotist teetering on the edge of madness" who comes to the city in search of his missing sister Alice. (Get it?)
