Baywatchalum Donna D'Errico is determined to continue her quest for Noah's Ark despite sustaining injuries during her recent trip to Turkey, TMZ.com reports.

Over the weekend, D'Errico was injured near Mount Ararat while on the hunt for the biblical vessel, suffering cuts and bruises to her face, arms and legs. TMZ.com caught up with the actress upon her return from Turkey on Tuesday night. "I'm OK," she told the site. "It was scary. I took a little scary tumble up there, but I'm just glad to be home."

D'Errico also addressed the naysayers out there who have criticized her quest for the biblical boat. "It's more fulfilling a lifetime dream that I've had since I was a kid," she said. "I've just always wanted to climb Mount Ararat and search for Noah's Ark. I know everybody thinks it's funny and it's a big joke and people don't believe in it, but I do."

D'Errico is already planning to return to Turkey next month. Searches for physical remains of the Ark has held fascination for many people throughout the centuries and date back more than a thousand years although no scientific evidence of the boat has been found.
