Move over, Caped Crusader!

We knew The CW found the perfect person to play Batwoman when the network first cast Ruby Rose in the role, but now that we've got our first look at her... umm, is it time for the Arrowverse crossover yet? Please?!

Set against a dark and gritty city backdrop -- with the Bat-Signal shining bright in the night sky no less -- Rose stuns in this first look photo at the iconic superhero. Batwoman, whose real name is Kate Kane, will be introduced in the big Arrowverse this year, which actually begins filming Tuesday! The character is described as a hero with a flair for social justice who isn't afraid to speak her mind. Her appearance also marks an important addition for LGBTQ representation in the Arrowverse as a gay superhero, something Rose is justly proud of.

"Growing up watching TV, I never saw somebody I could identify with, let alone a superhero," Ruby Rose said of the casting news this summer on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. "Oscar Wilde had this saying which is, 'Be yourself because everybody else is taken.' And so, I've always lived by that motto. The second motto [I lived by] when I came into the industry was, 'Be the person that you needed when you were younger.'"

Superman Joins the Arrowverse Crossover!

Assuming Batwoman's inclusion in the Arrow, Supergirl and The Flashcrossover goes off without a hitch, you might want to schedule some time into your TV schedule next year for a Batwoman series, since one is currently in the works at The CW.

The Arrowverse three-way crossover begins Sunday, Dec. 8 at 8/7c on The CW.

(Full disclosure: TV Guide is owned by CBS, one of The CW's parent companies.)
