New Batman v Superman Trailer Finally Shows Us Wonder Woman

It's been two years since Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justicewas announced and we still have another eight months to go before it hits theaters. But at long last, we have been given our first look at Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) in action!

Princess Diana is only on screen a few seconds out of the three-and-a-half minute trailer that debuted at Comic-Con on Saturday, but those seconds were -- without a doubt -- the best seconds of the trailer.

Not to say that the trailer is bad, per se. It's exactly the dark, gritty, brooding mishmash of superheroes and self-flagellation that has come to define anything whatsoever related to Batman. And boy, is there a lot of brooding Batman (Ben Affleck) in this trailer. We even get to see him brood over his parents dying, because we've never seen that before!

Superman (Henry Cavill) does his fair share of brooding too, while his parents do their best to quench his God complex. Meanwhile, Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) is far too busy chewing the scenery to brood over anything -- including how terrible his wig is. (You'd think someone as rich as Lex could afford a better stylist, no?)
