The singer, 71, quietly married his longtime manager, Garry Kief, in a private ceremony in Palm Springs, Calif., last year, People reports.

Even the guests at the wedding weren't aware they were about to witness the couple's nuptials - they were invited to Manilow's home under the guise of attending a lunch, a source tells People.
Manilow has never publicly come out as gay, but never went to great lengths to hide his sexual orientation either. He was previously married to his high school girlfriend, Susan Deixler, in the '60s, but the marriage was annulled after two years.
