Bachelor Lawsuit Over Spoilers Settled

Producers behind the latest season of The Bachelor have reached a settlement with blogger "Reality" Steve Carbone, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Producers filed a federal lawsuit at the beginning of the most recent 17th season against Carbone, accusing him of attempting to induce contestants into breaching their confidentiality agreements.

"Reality Steve" has been known for spoiling the results of The Bachelor for several years, and was first sued by the show during Season 16. A settlement was reached in that case, but when Carbone posted the full names of the women eliminated from Season 17, he was charged with breaching his settlement.

The original settlement stipulated that he not contact directly or indirectly any cast, crew or employees from The Bachelor for five years. But the settlement did not prevent him from being contacted by the cast, crew or employees.

It is unclear how the latest lawsuit was resolved, but Carbone did say it was "amicably resolved." However, just last week, Carbone posted names of 13 of the 25 guys appearing on the new season of The Bachelorette, which premieres in May.
