Assault Charges Against Orange is thew New Black star Dascha Polanco Dropped

Last December, Orange is the New Black star Dascha Polanco was accused of assault by 17-year-old Michelle Cardona, who was visiting the actress' New York City home at the time. Now, the ordeal is over for the actress after the charges have been dropped.

According to reports, the DA dropped the assault charge over, "lack of stating the truth and relevant evidence."

Orange Is the New Black star Dascha Polanco isn't worried about her assault case.

Said Polanco's attorney in a statement, "We are pleased that after a thorough investigation and review of the actual evidence, the District Attorney's Office has done the right thing and agreed to dismiss the case against Ms. Polanco."
