Good news, Bachelorand Bachelorette fans — hope is not yet lost!
Weeks after Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson confirmed their split, ABC announced it will televise the wedding of Bachelorette couple Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum this December.
The Bachelorette: Ashley and J.P.'s Wedding will show all the behind-the-scenes preparation leading up to the duo's big day. Dress fittings, meetings with the wedding planner, the bachelor and bachelorette parties — nothing is off limits! Bachelor and Bachelorette alums — yet to be announced — will also pop up to help the couple celebrate, and Chris Harrison will host the TV special. "So happy to share our special day with everyone and finally show our excitement!! Thank you to everyone for being positive and supportive," Hebert tweeted Monday.
The Bachelor's terrible track record: A history of failed romances
Since Rosenbaum, 35, proposed to Hebert, 28, on The Bachelorette finale last year, she has been completing a specialty in pediatric dentistry in Philadelphia while Rosenbaum is working as a construction manager in New York City.
Hebert and Rosenbaum are the third show couple to tie the knot in front of the camera. Trista and Ryan Sutter married in December 2003 and Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney — who just announced they're expecting — exchanged "I do's" in February 2010.
