MTV and Ariana Grande Revive TRL– For One Day Only

TRL is back! For a day, anyway.

MTV and singer Ariana Grande are reviving the countdown show, which will air for one day next month with the title Total Ariana Live.

During the 30-minute special, which will be hosted by MTV News' Sway Calloway in front of a live studio audience, Grande will perform her hit single "Problem" and will also offer fans a first listen to her upcoming single "Break Free." She'll also be making a "surprise announcement" and participating in music trivia games, according to the network.

"It's a huge honor to be able to bring back a show like TRL," Grande said in a statement. "I used to love watching it growing up. Can't wait to celebrate with my loves in Times Square."

Total Ariana Live will premiere on Wednesday, July 2 at 7/6c.
