Anne Hathaway Is Officially a Mom

Anne Hathaway and husband Adam Shulman have welcomed their first child! E! reports that the Interstellar actress gave birth to a baby boy named Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman on March 24.

Hathaway first revealed that she was pregnant in November, though rumors had started as early as August that she was expecting. For the most part, Hathaway and her husband have kept quiet about the baby, except when Hathaway posted a pregnant bikini pic in January to spoil the paparazzi photos being taken of her while on vacation.

The Oscar-winning actress has been very open about wanting to start a family, telling Vogue in 2013, "Oh, my God. I want to be a mother, and I anticipate loving my children quite fiercely. I think about it all the time, though it's a silly thing to think about because the kind of mother I'll be depends on the kind of children I have. I can't wait to meet them."

Hathaway has taken a break from filming while she prepares for motherhood. She's next scheduled to appear in The Baby Shower, about an expectant mother's baby shower that gets interrupted by an alien invasion. She's also producing and set to star in a television adaptation of Jennifer Steil's The Ambassador's Wife novel.
