Angie Everhart Diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer

Model and actress Angie Everhart has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer and will undergo surgery on Tuesday, Extra reports.

"Word has been trickling out about supermodel/actress Angie Everhart's health," her rep tells Extra. "She wants to set the record straight by letting everyone know that it is true that she has been diagnosed with thyroid cancer, however, the prognosis is very good."

Everhart, 43, expects to get back to work and "mommy duties" within "a few weeks" after her operation, according to her rep.
