Angela Lansbury will start the new year off with a fancy new title.
The Murder, She Wrote star has been made a Dame of the British Empire, The Associated Press reports.
The actress, 88, was one of more than 1,000 people recognized by Queen Elizabeth II in the New Year's Honors List. The list, which was dominated by women, also included Penelope Keith, who played Margot on The Good Life, and Dr. Marcus Setchell, who oversaw the delivery of Prince George.
Lansbury also received an honorary Oscar last month.
