Barbara Walters has started releasing the names of the people who will make up her annual list of Most Fascinating People. The first round of names contain some obvious choices as well as some surprises.

Comedienne Amy Schumer continues her gangbuster year by making her way onto the list. Not only did Inside Amy Schumerclean up at the Emmy Awards but Schumer debuted her first film Trainwreck this summer. She also managed to turn the tragic shooting that took place during a screening of her film into a cause for action when she teamed up with her cousin, Senator Chuck Schumer, to start a gun control initiative in hopes of preventing future mass shooter attacks.

She's joined by SNL alum Tracy Morgan who made a triumphant return to television this year after a car accident left him critically injured for months. There's no doubt that Morgan's interview with Walters will talk about his resilience and what helped him get through that terrible time and ready to host SNL again this fall.

Ronda Rousey, who has been no stranger to headlines in 2015, will also sit down with Walters. On the opposite side of the athletic spectrum, Misty Copeland, the first black woman to become a principal dancer at the American Ballet Theater, has also made Walters' list.

Bradley Cooper will bring the A-list Hollywood factor to the presentation. Cooper has recently garnered attention for standing behind co-star Jennifer Lawrence in fighting Hollywood's wage equality problem and has added the title of producer to his belt by taking on acting and behind the camera roles in CBS'Limitless.

Rounding out the first wave is presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders, who is giving Hillary Clinton a run for her money in the Democratic primary and fashion designer Donna Karan.

That's only seven names, which means two more will most likely be announced before the broadcast. Walters saves the reveal of her first most fascinating person for the end of the annual special. What are you best guesses?

Find out who else is on the list when Barbara Walters Presents: The 10 Most Fascinating People of 2015 airs Dec. 17 at 9:30/8:30/c on ABC.
