American Horror Story: 1984may not have much Sarah Paulson, but it will reunite plenty of Ryan Murphy's muses and familiar faces from the AHS universe.

Murphy dropped an official cast announcement via Instagram on Thursday, and it's a moody, '80s-themed mini-movie that reveals the latest additions to the cast. Among them: Glee star Matthew Morrison. And by revealed, I mean really revealed: In the clip, Morrison is rocking some very short shorts that do very little to cover his massive [eggplant emoji].

Newly revealed cast members in the featurette also include Versace and AHS star Cody Fern, done up in a spot-on Wham! cosplay, as well as AHS darlings Leslie Grossman and Billie Lourd and Freak Show's John Carroll Lynch.

American Horror Story: 1984: Everything We Know About Season 9

The new cast members join Pose star Angelica Ross, as well as Emma Roberts and Olympian Gus Kenworthy. So while AHS Queen Sarah Paulson reportedly won't take up as much -- or, possibly, any -- space in the next iteration, and Evan Peters has also been confirmed not to appear, fans will still be able to expect a blend of familiar faces and new ones in 1984. Knowing Ryan Murphy, we can count on some more surprises to come too.

American Horror Story: 1984 will premiere on Wednesday, Sept. 18 at 10/9c on FX.
