Amanda Bynes Tweets She's Been Diagnosed as Bipolar and Manic Depressive

Amanda Bynes tweeted that she has been diagnosed as bipolar and manic depressive early Tuesday morning.

"I was diagnosed bi - polar and manic depressive so I'm on medication and I'm seeing my psychologist and pyshchiatrist [sic] weekly so I'm fine :D," Bynes tweeted.

The confession was sandwiched between a series of tweets in which Bynes, who was recently placed under conservatorship again, complained about her lack of freedom. "I need to get an apartment and my parents won't give me access to any of my funds," she wrote. "I'm not living with my parents. I'm not legally obligated to. My lawyer said if I comply with the courts and take my meds and see my psychologist and psychiatrist weekly then I will get unconserved. Thank GOD."

Last month, Bynes posted a series of tweets alleging that her father had verbally, physically and sexually abused her. Her parents denied the allegations and Bynes later recanted and deleted the tweets, claiming "the microchip in my brain made me say those things but he's the one that ordered them to microchip me." The actress was then placed in psychiatric hold and her mother Lynn was reinstated as her conservator on Oct. 22.
