Amanda Bynes Checks In to Celebrity Rehab Center

Amanda Bynes has checked out of the UCLA Medical Center in favor of a celebrity-friendly Malibu facility, TMZ reports.

According to the site, Bynes checked in to The Canyon three weeks ago and keeps mainly to herself. While she has shed her wigs, Bynes, 27, reportedly remains "paranoid" the paparazzi will find her, TMZ says.

The actress is still under involuntary psychiatric hold, stemming from an incident in July in which she started a small fire in someone's driveway, but The Canyon doesn't have the psychiatric facilities available at UCLA. Last week, Bynes' lawyer claimed she was unfit to stand trial for her 2012 DUI arrest. The case is still waiting to be put in front of a judge in mental health court, where it will be determined whether or not she is competent enough for trial.

The Canyon came under fire in 2011 when an employee allegedly sold confidential information about Charlie Sheen's ex-wife Brooke Mueller. The socialite settled her lawsuit against the center for a reported $250,000.
