J.J. Abrams and Supernatural creator Eric Kripke are teaming up on a pilot for NBC, Deadline reports. Currently titled Revolution, details remain limited other than being described as an "epic adventure thriller." Abrams, Kripke and Bryan Burk are executive-producing with Abrams' production company Bad Robot and Warner Bros. Television.

Abrams has a full slate this TV season. Besides his returning show Fringe, he has the new series Person of Interest and Alcatraz, which debuts midseason. Kripke, meanwhile, is writing and executive-producing Deadman, a DC Comics adaptation of for The CW.
