Watch the First Trailers for All of ABC's New Shows

ABC revealed its fall schedule on Tuesday, which means we now know when the network's returning series will air later this year. But perhaps more excitingly, we also know when all of the network's new shows will debut.

The comedies and dramas ABC has added to its upcoming lineup feature quite a few familiar faces, including Cobie Smulders, Jane Curtin, Tika Sumpter, Michael Ealy, and Allison Tolman. The network will also continue its reign as the home for heartwarming family comedies with the addition of a black-ish spin-off and the multi-cultural United We Fall, as well as add a few more heart-pounding crime dramas to the mix. ABC's 2019-2020 Fall TV Lineup: What You Need to Know

Comedy

mixed-ish (Tuesdays at 9/8c)

What's it about: black-ish's best character, Bow (played by Tracee Ellis Ross in the ABC comedy), is getting her own spin-off. This '80s-set sitcom will follow Rainbow's (Arica Himmel) experience growing up in a mixed-race family, who move from a hippie commune to the suburbs. In addition to Himmell, Tika Sumpter, Christina Anthony, Mykal-Michelle Harris, and Ethan Childress also star.

Drama

Stumptown(Wednesdays at 10/9c)

What it's about: Not a series about coffee (damn fine coffee, we might add), but an adaptation of the graphic novel of the same name that stars Cobie Smulders as an Army vet in Portland, Oregon (the aforementioned Stumptown) who becomes a private investigator. Michael Ealy and Camryn Manheim star.

Emergence (Tuesdays at 10/9c)

What it's about: Allison Tolman once again dons her blues to play a police chief in this upcoming thriller. After Jo (Tolman) who takes in a child who's suffering from amnesia after being involved in a mysterious accident, the detective finds herself dragged into a massive conspiracy, "and the child's identity is at the center of it all," ABC ominously warns.
