Jackman's competition includes Hunter Foster (Little Shop of Horrors), Alfred Molina (Fiddler on the Roof), Euan Morton (Taboo) and John Tartaglia (Avenue Q). The Wizard of Oz fantasy Wicked nabbed a field-best 10 nominations, while Stephen Sondheim's musical Assassins scored seven. Four shows followed with six nods apiece: Avenue Q, Caroline, or Change, Fiddler on the Roof and Henry IV. read more


Real World: Miami alum Dan Renzi was arrested last week for pulling a Pee-wee Herman inside a Kansas City porn theater. According to The, the 29-year-old aspiring model was charged with indecent conduct after undercover cops spotted him pleasuring himself during a movie. Renzi is the second Real Worlder to get nabbed on a sex-related charge in the past three months. David Broom, a grad of the New Orleans edition, was busted in February for patronizing a $10 Chicago prostitute. read more

In addition to a cool $1 million, the Outback grad also won a marriage proposal (and some serious bling) from runner-up/boyfriend Robfather Mariano during the live reunion show. Moviegoers instead flocked to Hugh Jackman's big-budget monster mash, Van Helsing, which opened the summer movie season at No. 1 with $54.2 million. Survivor: All-Stars and Survivor: All-Stars Reunion SAS: C'mon, now. Did anyone ever really doubt that Rob and Amber were going to be the Final 2? The obvious big question of the night was whether Jenna L. or Rupert was going to be the third one standing (literally, on two posts in a pond), although, in my mind at least, Jenna was the obvious choice to take third place. It was way too risky to let Rupert into the Final 3. He could easily have won the immunity that Jenna carelessly lost — although not as infuriatingly stupidly as Amber — and our "gentle giant" would have taken the money and run. (Run, Rupert, run!)

What was more interesting (and I say that with only the tiniest bit of sarcasm) was the final Immunity Challenge standoff between Rob and Amber.
