Time will stop again on the set of 24.

Production on the Fox series will halt for two weeks, starting Sept. 15, to reconsider the show's creative direction after executive producer Howard Gordon voiced dissatisfaction with scripts, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Gordon plans to resume production on Oct. 9, after rewrites take place.

But rest assured, Bauer-geeks: The break will not affect Season 7 as production is ahead of schedule. Eight episodes are already in the can from last year, filmed pre-writers' strike, and episode 18 will be completed before the upcoming break.

Preceded by a Nov. 23 TV-movie "prequel," Season 7 of 24 will kick off in January. - Joyce Eng
